" A pioneering research community "

The Jisan Research Institute Summer High School Research Program | June 15, 2015 - August 28, 2015

jisan5Congratulations to our 2013 Summer Student Rui Li for her early admissions acceptance to MIT!

The Jisan Research Institute has developed an exciting summer program for young researchers. This summer program puts the students directly in the laboratory working with a PhD level scientists with other students, solving engineering and scientific problems in a three-month time period. The program represents an unsurpassed value in which young people build skills which will help them for life and generate an intimate knowledge of scientific endeavors which will help improve the remainder of their professional lives.

The Summer Research Training Program (SRTP) is designed to bring out the scientist in young people, irrespective of their prior research-related background. Building on JRI's pioneering Research Training Program, the summer program puts research tools in the hands of students ready and willing to experience what it is like to be part of a research program. The goal is that, by the completion of the summer program, students will realize the awesome power they themselves control in terms of their ability to make positive and meaningful contributions to the world, bringing forth new technologies that have never before been made.
