Message from the President____________________________

Hi, I am Dr. Sanza T. Kazadi, President and Founder of the Jisan Research Institute. I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Jisan Research Institute, and to tell you why I think it's the best educational opportunity anywhere.

While I was a student at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) earning my PhD, I became aware of a problem with American education. I set out to create a place that teaches skills that students don't learn virtually anywhere else. The result is the Jisan Research Institute, the only research lab anywhere specifically designed for high school students.

Students at the Jisan Research Institute learn many things that are only systematically taught here. As a result they accomplish much more that most other students before and after college.

• All Jisan graduates publish scientific papers in international scientific journals or conferences. This establishes them on an international scientific stage, not merely a school-wide or local stage.

• Many Jisan students invent new technologies and patent them. Some of these technologies might just change the world!

• Jisan students develop exceptional study skills that colleges, medical programs, and graduate programs are looking for. These skills are so important that students who don't develop them cannot go on to many postgraduate programs.

• Jisan students have won recognition among international scientists for their work. Many Jisan students have traveled to other countries to present their work in scientific conferences in the US, Canada, Hungary, Italy, and Australia.

• Jisan students develop expertise in their field of research in just 2 ½ years rather than the normal eight years of college and graduate school.

• Jisan students learn to excel in school; 'B/C' students have become 'A' students as a result of their work at Jisan.

• Students develop a true love for learning, and this love propels them to great achievement in and out of school long after being at Jisan.

• Jisan students can obtain research positions in college laboratories within one month of arriving on campus! This is nearly two years ahead of the average college student.

As President of this program, I have had the pleasure of putting forth and perfecting what is now the premier precollege research program. My students have gone to the top colleges in the world including Harvard, Brown, Caltech, Stanford, MIT, Cornell University, and many more, earning BS, MD, MS, and PhD degrees! I look forward to continuing to help young people become some of the most accomplished individuals the next generation has to offer!
